About the Project

Academic advising has historically been a highly decentralized practice at Georgia Tech.In an effort to establish common practices and standards across the advising community - comprised of approximately 125 advisors - the Institute has established an engagement to introduce a new advising platform. Implementation of the platform, Salesforce Advisor Link, is currently in progress and is expected to launch in Fall 2020.

GOALS Transform Create a streamlined user experience for the advising community that transforms how they engage and interact with both traditional and non-traditional students on an innovative, intuitive platform. Align Establish consistent practices and standards as well as a common platform for greater integration of major academic exploration and career planning. Inform Leverage data and analytics for advanced reporting and insights that help inform an enhanced advising experience for all students.
